Peter Pan Collar Top

A Peter Pan collar is a style of clothing collar, flat in design with rounded corners. It is named after the collar of Maude Adams's costume in her 1905 role as Peter Pan, although similar styles had been worn before this date. That is also one of the reasons why it is a quite recurring element of witches' costumes (if you didn't notice, many famous witches of pop culture have dresses with Peter Pan collars, like Wednesday Addams or Sabrina Spellman). Thus, this collar symbolizes freedom, progress, and the valuation of women's belief systems.
